For the first few years I had Louie, I threw him a big birthday party at my home. It was fun to plan but exhausting to execute. This year I decided to take away some of that pressure by celebrating Louie’s birthday with an indoor dog park party. Read on to learn how you can have one too!
A Party for Dogs of All Ages
Indoor dog parks are a huge new trend in the United States. They are especially popular in areas that get a lot of snow or have extreme heat. We are prone to both where I live, so I was excited to hear about the recent opening of JB’s Indoor Dog Park in nearby Norwell, MA. They offer monthly memberships, drop-in rates, meetups & private celebrations.
What’s Included:
JBs charges $125 for a 90-minute private indoor dog park party. That includes a homemade birthday cake and goodie bags for up to 10 dogs. Additional dogs are $10 each. Louie’s party had about 25 doggie guests, but we were able to negotiate a rate that included all his friends.
What’s Not :
JB’s Indoor Dog Park provides bottled water and coffee, so all I had to worry about was bringing some human treats and paper goods. I also couldn’t resist also putting out some silly poop 💩 themed birthday party hats and decorations I ordered on Amazon.com.
Once everything was set up, I could relax and join in the fun. Deciding to have an indoor dog park party for Louie’s birthday meant I didn’t have to worry about the weather or get my house ready for guests. I didn’t even have to deal with the after-party clean-up, thanks to JBs!

Looks like a terrific idea! Will definitely keep this in mind!
